Authorship of Isaiah

The book of Isaiah in the Scripture is a single book. It is known that beginning with the 12th century there are scholars who split the book in three (Proto/Deutero/Trito). The reasons for this is that the name of the prophet does not appear after chapter 39, the section 40-55 deals with the time of exile, and the section 56-66 deals with the post-exilic times. Dintre oamenii lui Dumnezeu cărora le-au fost descoperite lucruri cu privire la venirea lui Mesia, Isaia este cel căruia i s-a dat cel mai mult. Capitolele 9, 11 și 53 sunt cele mai detaliate descoperiri cu privire la venirea Răscumpărătorului. Isaia a trăit și a lucrat în poporul lui Dumnezeu înainte de exilul asirian (anii 700 î.d.Cr.). În acea perioadă de întuneric, în care profetul este trimis cu un mesaj al judecății și pedepsei, el primește și cele mai clare descoperiri din VT cu privire la venirea lui Mesia.Read more...
